In the last 25 years I have taken note of your career as I spent many years teaching in Santa Cruz City schools and even serving as an administrator for ten of those years.

I hope that our local newspapers will invite City Schools personnel to extend their educational mission beyond school walls and into regular columns that address educational issues. We’re fortunate to have Gary Bloom’s leadership.
