In response to community concerns about safety and connecting families to our schools, the Santa Cruz Schools district is hosting two parent meetings.
Raising the Next Generation for Success: Connecting to Kids What Families and Schools Can DoThursday December 3, 6:30 – 8:00, Mission Hill Middle School Auditorium
Monday, December 7, 6:30 – 8:00 Branciforte Small Schools Campus MPR
- How to identify behavior that puts children at risk of not being successful in school and life
- How to talk to your children about risky or dangerous behaviors
- What you can do to prevent risky behavior
- How to encourage your children to stay focused on their dreams for their future
- What families and school together can do to provide options for our children
Who should attend:
- Parents who want to partner with the schools to develop skills and learn about resources
- Parents who want to work together to keep our children, schools and community safe
Both meetings are open to all parents in the Santa Cruz City Schools; both sessions will be conducted in English & Spanish
