After a grueling weekend of back to back contests, the Santa Cruz High School Mock Trial team took first place in the County finals, earning a berth in the state championships.  The team is coached by attorneys Steve and Michelle LaBerge (winners of the 2009 Eddy Award for Community Support) and advised by SCHS teacher Stacey Falls.  SCHS team members also performed well in their individual roles, winning recognition for preparation and delivery.
