Positive Discipline With Your Teenager led by Jane Weed-Pomerantz

Santa Cruz High School
Wednesday November 17th, 7:00 – 8:30pm
Santa Cruz High School Auditorium, 415 Walnut Street
Free and open to the public

Parents of teenagers:  You are not alone!  This workshop is informative and experiential.  We’ll hear the general over view of positive discipline.  We will look at long range vs. short range responses, and what is most useful for helping our teens learn competency, capability, and responsibility.  Positive discipline offers more than techniques (kids see right through these in no time) but instead offers principles of human needs, values, and approaches for respectful relationships.

This is the inaugural event in an series of parent education events hosted by the Santa Cruz High School PTA.  The event is free; community members and interested parents from all schools are welcome.
