Something stylish this way comes –– Sold out!!!Saturday September 24 VIP Lounge, 5-7; Runway Show, 7-9; Trunk Show, 9 -10 Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium Purchase Tickets, $20
FashionART Santa Cruz (FASC) is more than a runway show. It is more than wearable art or a trunk show for designers. It is all of those things and it’s a bold, out loud cultural celebration that draws patrons from far beyond our provincial boundaries. Glamorous and fun, the event is predicted to sell out the Civic Auditorium. The brainchild of Angelo Grova, FASC features local artists and designers as well as drawing big name designers from the Bay Area and beyond. Even school students get into the act, with their wearable art creations on display. A post-event Trunk Show will feature art, designs & refreshments for purchase.
In an effort to give back to the community, this year FASC organizers have set aside reserved seats tickets for sale via the Santa Cruz Education Foundation; 100% of the proceeds from tickets purchased through the Foundation will benefit public school programs in Santa Cruz. The Foundation will also raise funds by selling Penny Ice Creamery treats and beverages.
The Good Times has in-depth coverage of the event with designer interviews and highlights. Check out the cover story here.
