Proclamation Day
Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 12 noon
(yes, this is April Fool’s day but it is not a joke!)
At the front of the Rittenhouse Building on Pacific Ave.

At the appointed hour, the Mayor of Santa Cruz, joined by many former Mayors, will proclaim April 1, 2012 as Proclamation Day in the City of Santa Cruz… with a 30 foot scroll read from the Grand Balcony of the Rittenhouse Building.

An event worth walking 500 or even 1000 miles for, festivities downtown will feature music, humor, history, pomp and circumstance and a whole lot of family fun.

And, if you sign up by March 28, you can be listed in the Proclamation Day Proclamation (for a small donation to the City’s Teen Center your name or the name of a loved one will be included in the giant proclamation.)
