On Saturday April 21, tens of thousands of Comcast employees, family members and friends will kick-off the 11th annual Comcast Cares Day across the country. This is one of the largest single-day corporate volunteer efforts in the nation. Comcast employees will partner with hundreds of local organizations on projects benefiting neighborhoods all across America. Last year, this volunteer initiative has grown to include nearly 70, 000 volunteers and 659 sites. To date, more than 350,000 volunteers have contributed over 2 million hours of service at nearly 4,000 project sites in local communities.
This year Comcast employees will descend on 17 schools in California, including Mission Hill Middle School. Comcast expects a large number of employees, family members and friends to be on hand to clean up and improve the physical surroundings of the campus. Families and staff are welcome to join in the day’s events.
