CAGV f4A rally sponsored by the Community Against Gun Violence group is planned for 4:30 to 5:30 PM on February 26 at the Town Clock in downtown Santa Cruz.  The committee seeks to speak out against the epidemic of gun violence, particularly the brutal killing of children in Newtown, Connecticut and ensure that voices be heard by all who value safety in our community.

At the rally, speakers including Santa Cruz Superintendent of Schools Michael Watkins, and retired Santa Cruz County Homicide Detective Stoney Brooke will address the topic of gun violence in our community and across the nation.  All concerned citizens are urged to join the effort.  For more information, contact the committee
