The Santa Cruz City Schools district and the Greater Santa Cruz Federation of Teachers have signed a tentative agreement to “work constructively together to solve their problems to the benefit of our students, employees and the community” and provide teachers with a 2% increase in their base salary effective July 1, 2012. Teachers will vote on ratification this week; the agreement comes before the Board of Trustees on November 13.

Negotiations for the 2013-2014 school year will open in the Spring of 2014.
