Santa Cruz Parent Education Nursery to host Inaugural Fundraiser

Wednesday, February 5th, 2014 from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm.

Santa Cruz Parent Education Nursery School (SCPENS) will be hosting its inaugural fundraising event, “Sip & Nibble” at Michael’s on Main in Soquel on Wednesday, February 5th, 2014 from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm.

Guests will sample locally handcrafted wines, nibble on small plate appetizers, while bidding on an exciting array of silent auction items. Such items include overnight stays at high-end hotels, wine tasting packages, family fun theme park tickets, locally made original art work and much more.

SCPENS hosts just three fundraising events a year and proceeds benefit each and every family that attends. “SCPENS relies on the generosity of community members and local businesses,” says Shannon Blount, Fundraising Chair Member. “Our goal is to earn $4,000 toward our fundraising goal. An event like this is very important to keep our preschool thriving within the community.”

This event benefits the Santa Cruz Parent Education Nursery School (SCPENS), a Local Nonprofit Parent Participation Preschool Since 1975.  SCPENS is a nonprofit parent participation program for toddlers and preschoolers. Affiliated with the Santa Cruz Adult School of the Santa Cruz City School District,  SCPENS is staffed by credentialed teachers and has been providing education and support for parents and their children for 37 years.
