Santa Cruz City Schools is hosting another community meeting regarding the Local Control Funding Formula at 6:30 pm on Thursday February 13, 2014 at Mission Hill Middle School. Everyone welcome! Translation available.  Bring your ideas–local governing boards now have increased flexibility to integrate local ideas (that come from parents or the community on best ways to support student success) on how to spend funds. 

What is Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF)?  The California state law creating the new funding system shifts decision making on K-12 spending from the Legislature to local districts.
